About the Artist
Lauren McAndrew was born during a January snowstorm in Syracuse, New York. She graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA and a focus in painting. Past showings of her work include the Visible Voices exhibition at RIT City Art Space, as well as the 2022 Art Out exhibition held in the Bevier Gallery. Her writing has been published in numerous books and magazines, including the 39th edition of Signatures!, a magazine geared towards promoting art and literature. Professional commissions consist of logo design for Kiss the Flower Bee Company and pattern work for an Anthropologie dining set made by Liam Huff. McAndrew’s time abroad expanded her artistic horizons, granting a new depth to her work. She’s worked multiple jobs in design, print, and paint, but paint has always been where her heart lies.
